The history of the Finance Academy has more than 50 years. Its basis was the Tselinograd Financial and Economic College of the Ministry of Finance of the Kazakh SSR (1965). For half a century, the Academy has changed its name more than once, but its graduates have always remained in demand on the labor market. In 2009, when the world was experiencing the effects of the global financial and economic crisis, the decision of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan was the creation of a specialized university of a new type – the Finance Academy under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Finance Academy develops international contacts and cooperates with leading universities of foreign countries and the CIS countries.
The list of partners includes universities in the UK, Switzerland, Bulgaria, China, South Korea, Greece, Russia, Armenia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, etc. The Financial Academy is the leading scientific and practical center for financial and economic training of specialists at all levels of education and advanced training. We are aimed at creating and developing professional personnel and strive to become a leading scientific and educational center for training personnel for the financial sector of the country. Our Academy is open to applicants from Kazakhstan and the countries of the Eurasian Union. The main selection criterion is talent and the desire to become a high-class specialist.
