Pavlodar Pedagogical Institute (PPI) was opened on December 1, 1962. For 55 years, Pavlodar State Pedagogical University has been providing its students with quality education, it is considered to be the leading pedagogical university of the country. PSPU has established itself in the educational services market as a higher educational institution that is stable and developing in accordance with modern trends.
In 2016, in the National Rating of Pedagogical Universities of Kazakhstan, PSPU took third place and entered the top ten universities. In 2012, the university received the EUROPEAN QUALITY international award. The university passed institutional and specialized accreditation of all educational programs in independent accrediting agencies in Germany and Kazakhstan.
